What I Have Been Up To Lately

Sorry I've been so inconsistent in posting on this blog over the last few weeks, but it's been crazy here at the Toby Said So Dome. I have been sick off and on, my wife has felt like hell at times and my eight year old daughter has been sick for about three weeks with strep throat that comes and goes as it pleases, antibiotics be damned. On top of that, I have been publishing two of my other blogs, Three States Plus One and Dumbass News, on a daily basis and I am working to bring back an old technology blog with a different look and a new format. If that's not enough, I am working on a site on which to conduct business regarding all of my blogs, which I call my Emerging Internet Empire  :). I am also trying to be a good husband and father while juggling all these chores. Simply put, I've been busier than a one-legged man in an ass kickin' contest.

I am no computer smarty pants, so I am learning as I go through this process. Site design is only part of the job in putting together a new "home page" for all my blogs. I am also searching for paid sponsors to take a chance with my new venture. That requires a helluva lot of time and effort all by itself. I am confident that all the hard work will eventually pay off, but I want to get off on the right foot to ensure that I have the best chance possible to succeed. Success in this case, also means getting a larger following on social media sites like Facebook, Digg and Reddit. I am looking into getting a new hosting company and claiming some domain names as well. I feel like I have left something out here. Oh, yeah. I have to do dishes tonight. All this stuff means I have to cross all the t's and dot all the i's, and believe you me, I am crossing and dotting as fast as I possibly can. I am, however, setting things up for a marathon run not a 100 meter dash, so it will take a little time to get things the way I want them. In another week, maybe two, I should be ready for the Big Launch. Time will tell.

All that said, I humbly offer you my sincere thanks for your continued support on my other blogs (see links above) and for your encouraging emails and FB messages. I promise to do my best to kick ass and take names, so your faith and trust in me will not be misplaced. Y'all are the BEST!
