Liberal Shows His True Colors; Threatens to Kill Maine Governor

Dumbass
In the elections of this past November, my state of residence, Maine, elected a Republican Governor, Paul LePage. LePage is a self made man who was homeless at age eleven and he endured personal tragedy that no kid should ever have to experience. He is now wealthy and he did it on his own, which pisses Liberals to no end. It's all out in the open, so if you wanna fact check me, go ahead.

After hearing from Liberals that Conservatives are blood thirsty raaaaacists and worse, one of their Liberal brethren was dis-satisfied with the election results and the seating of a conservative as the Governor of this state. So what does this numb nuts do? He threatened the life of Governor LePage! To further show you what a fucking dickweed this guy is...wait. for. it. he's an inmate in the Piscataquis County Jail! According to the Bangor Daily News, Dunn slid a "folded letter from his cell, which allegedly was signed by Dunn, was graphic in detail about how he planned to kill the governor, whom he said he hated." Here's more, "According to police, Dunn,  has a lengthy criminal history mostly for theft". And now his modified resume will have another addition - "threatening to kill the Governor of Maine". Slick move ExLax.

Whatever this dipshit was incarcerated for is small potatoes compared to plotting to assassinate a sitting Governor. I am not sure how the criminal justice system would work in this case, but I figure that the State will stack his sentences, so he won't be a bother to polite society for quite some time. He will however, make new "special" friends while he's in the fucking Big House.

I brought this up briefly up there ^^^, what if LePage was  Democrat and Dunn was a Conservative? This would be all over every newspaper in the country and the Lame stream media would flood the evening news shows with this story like it was Hurricane Katrina. Alas, that is not the way the story goes, much to the dismay of Liberals everywhere.

In conclusion, (<-----I like saying that) Dunn is being "done" in the Big House, The Lame Stream Media still sucks and I despise what Liberals stand for.

Because Toby said so.

Small Town Guy From Maine is the State's Newest Prison Bitch

This Guy Gives Free Prison Bitch Lessons
Sometimes a big case of Dumbasitis is right under your nose. That is the deal right here in Maine. Just up the road a couple of hours from where I sit is the Town of Baileyville. As you may have surmised, Baileyville is little more than a hiccup on the map. I mean that literally, if you hiccup while entering Baileyville, by the time you hiccup, you'll see the "Leaving Baileyville" sign. Trust me on this.

A dipshit named Michael Bailey, no relation to the town, was arrested for robbing some people at a mobile home! "Four other people arrived at the mobile home during the incident, not knowing what was going on or that they would be robbed, according to police. Of those four, the first two people showed up by chance and also were taken hostage. Then, after Bailey allegedly ordered a resident to call and invite another man to the mobile home, two more people arrived and were held with the others at gunpoint, police indicated.
During the incident, a firearm was discharged in the mobile home and death threats were made before Bailey fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police indicated in the statement. Donahue declined to identify who is suspected of firing the gun or of making the threats. All eight people were robbed and held for about half an hour before Bailey left, according to police. Victims later told police that Bailey was the armed robber and that Fowler was his accomplice, police indicated." That's from UPI.

Michael, Michael, Michael. Rule Number 1 in being a successful criminal is to know that people who live in mobile homes are not rich! They have no possessions that are worth a shit! Do I have to tell you everything, Michael? Man up, son!  Here's a hint for you, Michael. Drive around a town larger than Baileyville and look for, oh, I don't know, BIG HOUSES maybe? That's where the loot is, dumbass. It's only gets better from here. Here's more from UPI: "Then, at around 6 a.m. Monday, police received a report of shots fired at a home on Houlton Road in Baileyville. A man who lives there told police he had exchanged gunfire with a masked gunman around 4 a.m. but that the gunman then ran away. The resident called police a few minutes after his home was hit again by gunfire, police said." hang on, there's one more thing that Michael the dipshit criminal did that earns him the title of Dipshit of the Day. When he was finally stopped by the law, Michael was ready to engage in a gun fight with the heat. Not a good decision. As Mikey Boy was pulling out the gun he had used in his earlier crimes, he shot himself in the face! I. Shit. You. Not!

Needless to say, but that was the end of Michael's Baileyville Crime Spree. He's being held on $10,000 bond in the County Jail. Other charges like kidnapping are certain to be filed in the next day or two. So, I bid Michael a fond adieu as he begins his new life as a prison bitch, or as they say in the pen, "fresh meat". have a good stay, Michael. I'm sure that you'll have some great stories to tell your grand children in 6 -10 years. Frakkin' idjit.

An Anniversary in Toby's House

Three years ago today, something real good happened to me. Heather gave me the high honor of becoming my wife. It was something I had been looking forward to for at least a couple of years, so I was thrilled when my dream finally came true.

I have told this story before, so I'll spare you the long version of it and give a quick thumbail recap. Heather and O met online in an AOL chat room and we became quick friends. As time progressed, we became closer and clser to one another. On November 21, 2004 i heard her voice for the first time when she finally relented and gave me her phone number. What happened next is not exactly the right way to begin a relationship. I was living in Colorado in a big ass house with about two dozen steps from the sidewalk up to the front door - twelve steps then a landing then twelve more steps to the door. It was dark when I made the phone the phone call that would change my life. I was standing on the front porch and was about to step down when the heel of my hiking boots got caught on the step. I fell down the first twelve steps and ended up with an elbow broken in five places! The phone went flying as I threw it when I fell and I heard it crash when it landed in the street below. Anyway...
About 18 months later, unbeknownst to anyone, I boarded a bus in Denver and four days later arrived in Augusta, Maine. I called Heather and when she answered, I said, 'Honey, I'm home". That was May 13, 2006. I am still here.

I am in the process of adopting my oldest daughter (she has a sperm donor, not a father, who has never even seen her, the dumbass), Isabella, and Heather and I made a baby who is now four years old. That would be Bailey. Needless to say, my life now is much different than it was a few years ago, but it's the kind of life I dreamed of for many years, and for some odd reason, God saw fit to bless me with my new family. Life has never been better or more rewarding.

I guess the moral to my story is that if you keep your dreams alive and remind God of them from time to time, when He sees fit, your dreams will finally become reality. Thank you, Lord, for these three wonderful girls that are in my life now. I have been blessed way more than I derserve, but nonetheless, God saw fit to bless me and I ain't complaining.

Heather, I love you more than mere words can express. I cherish you with all my heart and I look forward to the spending the rest of my life as your husband and as a father to our children. I am deeply humbled by the fact that God has bestowed such blessings on a sinner like me. I only hope to please Him tenfold times the gifts he has given me. I love you, Heather.

Because Toby said so.

By the way, the phone that was a casualty of my little fall down the steps? It still works. :)

The Nor'easter is Clobbering Us With a Mess of Snow UPDATED (scroll down)

Results of The Last Storm
As I mentioned yesterday, it's Wednesday so it's time for another nor'easter to blow through Maine. That's exactly what's happening as I type these words. It's snowing like hell, at a rate of over an inch an hour. The maintainence guys plowed the sidewalks less than an hour ago and we have gotten another inch and a half snow since then. That's a lot of snow in a short time. On top of the 3 or 4 inches we got yesterday, the snow we'll get today and tonight will have left us between 20 and 24 inches. Wind, snow, ice, blizzard-like conditions for 2000 miles and 30 states, 100,000,000 people, worst storm in 50 years, state of emergency and natural disaster. In Maine, we call that Wednesday.

My family and I are all hunkered down here at home mwith plenty of food and soft drinks to last us for a while should things get a little too hairy with the weather. I am, of course, typing this story, Heather is watching some movie she DVR'ed from one of the Lifetime Networks and the girls are upstairs - Bailey playing the loot she scored for her birthday and Issy is playing "The Sims 2" on her computer. Besides no school today, there are literally hundreds of cancellations for things like AA meetings up to and including VFW be closed for the day. Pick a letter from the alphabet, and something with a name that starts with that letter is closed today. Oh, yeah...this storm is so intense that the announcement of the schools closing here in Augusta was made last night! They usually call about 5:00am with that kind of news.

Although it's snowing pretty hard right now, the heaviest snowfall is still to come this afternoon. Just look at this forecast from Weather.com.

UPDATE: The worst of the storm has passed through and left the gift of about a foot of snow. There's another round of the white stuff beginning to make its way into the area, but it will only give us another few inches of snow. I'll try to remember to post some pictures in the morning.

Look Up in the Sky! It's a Bird! It's a Plane! It's More Damn Snow! UPDATED!!! (Scroll Down)

If tomorrow's Wednesday, it must be time for another winter storm! Like clockwork over the past month, we have gotten significant snowfall here in New England. One the storms that hit us was a full-blown blizzard. Out of these three storms we have gotten almost six feet of snow! Mother Nature must be wearing the finest of Swiss watches because tomorrow we are gonna get blasted with at least another foot of snow, to the leftovers from the previous nor'easters. You can see what I mean in the photo below which was taken while I was standing on my front porch.

Leftovers
I also took some shots of the parking lot and the sidewalk just outside the front door. I did so in order to provide a contrast in what snow is on the ground now and what new snowfall this latest storm will bring.

No snow on the sidewalk
We are supposed to get about 3 inches of snow today and tonight, then the bottom falls out in the morning. The approaching nor'easter is slated to dump at least another foot snow by early Thursday morning. Oh, the joy of living in the northeast. I actually don't mind the snow because I like to watch the snowflakes dancing about on their journey from cloud to ground. I know what you're thinking, tell Heather to hide all the shiny  objects and knives in the house.

I guess I can't complain too much because other parts of the country where snow is a rarity are getting slammed also. I know Texas is getting some wintry weather from the same system that's gonna blast us tomorrow. I know real good people in Texas and I know that the ice/snow/sleet has the Dumbass Effect on even the best of them. Let me put it this way. There are over 6 million people in the DFW area. With ice/snow/sleet on the highways and byways, every damn one of the 6 million people there turn into dumbasses at one time while driving in the stuff. I'm just sayin'

If the incoming weather brings us anything unexpected, I'll jump on here and do an update. Until then, my family is celebrating my little girl's 4th birthday today, weather be damned. That's just the way it goes.

Because Toby said so.

You Think You're Cold???!!! UPDATED! Scroll Down for Updates

Building a New Neighborhood in Maine
A few weeks ago, one of my friends in Texas saw where I had been Live Blogging the blizzard that hit here in Maine. I told him to hold on to his hat because he ain't seen nothin' yet. We are about to get slammed with the coldest weather we've had so far this winter. Before today, we had seen temperatures in the single digits with the lowest I have seen at 1 (one) degree a few days ago. Currently, it's snow at a rate of about an inch an hour and we are expected to get about 10 inches here in Augusta. I am expecting closer to 15 inches based on what I see right now and past experience. We shall see what we shall see. Below you'll see the weather forecast for Irving, Texas (my hometown) and Augusta, Maine (where I live now).

Notice any difference? To all my friends and family in Texas: I love you all with all my heart, but please quit bitchin' about how cold it is down there! :) Seriously, the average temps for Augusta for this time of year are something like 25 for the high and 9 for the low, so what we'll be getting for a few days is cold even for up here. I'll keep you posted on what goes on with the weather over the next few days as we graciously accept the weather that our neighbors to the North in Canada have been so kind to send us. Eh? Hosers.  :)

Because Toby said so.

UPDATE: The intensity of the snow picked up shortly after I posted this article. It's now snowing at about 2-3 inches per hour. That's gettin' busy. It would be a blizzard but the wind is not b;owing hard enough, but it's blowing enough to reduce visibility to around 150 yards. Here's an idea of what I am talking about. At 9:00 this morning  I had to run a quick errand. Before leaving I brushed off 6 inches of snow off the car. I just had to make a quick run to the dumpstaer and I had to brush off another 6 inches of snow off the car. Do the math. We are getting a good nor'easter as we speak and the snow is supposed to fall until at least 7:00 tonight. The current weather shows a temperature of 16 degrees with the Chill Factor at minus 3. I'll be updating again some time later this afternoon, I hope, and maybe I'll have some pictures to post

UPDATE 2 : I just received this infi from one of our Canadian readers. It's astounding!

Anonymous said...
*Ahem* http://www.winnipegweather.com/ Temperature: -24.6°C Wind Chill: -40 Wind: SSE 33 km/h Humidity: 69 % Dewpoint: -28.7°C Pressure: 101.6 kPa Tendency: falling Air Quality Health Index: 2 Visibility: 3 km
Minus 24.6 C = minus 78.28 F
Minus 40 C = minus 104 F

Now that's cold! Thanks for the comment Anonymous!

UPDATE 3: The snow is tapering off now and will out of here in an hour or so. My best estimate is that we got from 15- 18 inches, a pretty good snowfall. Thanks to Anonymous for the Canadian Weather Report and thanks to all of you for living through this storm with me.  :)
